Use SideQuest responsibly

Quests are prompts, not permission to enter private property, ignore posted rules, interfere with other people, or take unsafe risks. Use your judgment, follow local law, stay aware of your surroundings, and skip any quest that is not appropriate for you or your circumstances.

Your account

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping sign-in links and invitation credentials secure. Provide accurate information and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

Your content

You keep ownership of the photos, notes, and other content you create. You grant SideQuest a limited license to host, process, back up, and display that content only as needed to operate the service and honor the sharing choices you make. You must have the right to upload what you submit.

Acceptable use

Do not use SideQuest to harass others, share unlawful or infringing content, probe or disrupt the service, automate abusive requests, guess invitation credentials, impersonate another person, or bypass access controls. We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect people, the service, or our legal obligations.

Purchases and permanent unlocks

A Pack Key is a one-time consumable purchase that you can spend to permanently unlock one available Original for your SideQuest account. The Quest Pack Bundle is a one-time purchase that permanently unlocks the nine paid launch Originals. Better Together remains invite-only and is not included. Future seasonal, City, Creator, and other packs are separate unless a future offer expressly says otherwise.

Apple processes App Store purchases and refunds under its terms. Web purchases are processed through Stripe and RevenueCat, and access is linked to your SideQuest account after you redeem the one-time app link sent to your checkout email. Web purchases include a 7-day money-back guarantee: request a refund within seven days of purchase using the purchase support instructions in your receipt, and keep Pack Keys unused while a refund is reviewed. The Quest Pack Bundle can be restored through the App Store. Unused Pack Keys are tracked with your SideQuest account and have no cash value. If a payment provider reverses or refunds a purchase, SideQuest may remove the related access as required to reconcile that transaction.

Service availability

We work to keep SideQuest useful and available, but the service may change or be interrupted. To the extent permitted by law, SideQuest is provided as available without warranties that every quest, location, integration, or feature will always be suitable, accurate, or uninterrupted.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, SideQuest is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited.
